Presuming you have a good doctor--who should be a plastic surgeon--the scars will be barely noticable once they heal, probably almost completely invisible after a six months or a year. they will go around the areolas, then straight down the underside of your breasts, and around about 1/3 of the bottom in a curve. The bottom scars are hidden by the natural sagging of your breasts, and the ones around areolas look like they're supposed to be there. I had mine done ages ago, and I'm really glad I did. If you're having back problems, your insurance may cover the cost of the surgery.

I plan to have breast implant and the only thing I worry for is scars. Do they stay very long time? Is it too bad that you can hardly go topless at beach? On my consultation day the doctor also told me that he can make my boobs perfect if he cuts abit around my nipple to lift it and make my nipples abit smaller but I fear if I will always have scars on my nipples. I want very big implants and doctor told me if I use very big ones it is going to make my nipples too big which will be ugly so he told me that I will need to cut some part of my nipples too Can anybody say how long does it take that scars heal?

if your wounds usually heal with leaving a white line behind then your scars will fade away in 6-8 weeks, but if your previous wounds have stayed for so long and a brown thick line remains after all then your wound would never go away and you can never go topless even alone in front of a mirror..anyway manipulating your nipples will have them lose their sense which is certainly something you dont like...remember Tara Reid's nip case? she even couldnt feel the dress on her nips.
